Fundraising

Oak Bay Preschool is a charitable organization that relies on fundraising proceeds and grants for its day-to-day operation, and to keep fees reasonable for families. A parent-run Fundraising Committee organizes fundraising initiatives.

ANNUAL CHRISTMAS TREE SALE & BAKE SALE

A staple fundraiser for the preschool! We sell locally grown Douglas Fir trees and the school parents all provide a baked good to sell by donation.

MARIO LABONTE MURAL

Generously donated by local artist Mario Labonte, the preschool has a beautiful mural with a west coast landscape, painted at the entryway of the school. As an ongoing fundraising project, parents can donate $50 to the school to have their child’s handprint become one of the flowers in the painting!

The following local businesses will donate a portion of their sales to our school.

THRIFTY FOODS SMILE CARDS

Pick up a registered Smile Card from our school and load it up with cash! Thrifty’s will donate 5% of Smile Card money back to our school.

COBS BREAD DOUGHRAISER PROGRAM

Simply mention “Oak Bay Co-op Preschool” when paying at Oak Bay, Shelbourne, or Yates Street locations and Cobs will donate 5% of your purchase to our preschool!

An awesome way to quickly tag your kids gear for summer camp, daycare, or school, Mabel’s Labels can be customized online with great themes and colours. We get 20% of sales made on our account!
